At six o’clock I rang at Petrin’s apartment. She came to open and, from a casually turned on robe, she peered out halfway down to her breasts. Right behind the door she handed me a towel and showed where she had a bathroom. “Take a shower, and we’ll be ready with Jana,” she said, and smiled at me. So I’m not the only one who looked forward to today. A long hot shower made me feel the last remnants of nervousness. Only wrapped in a towel I went into the room.
